Welcome to our website which we hope you find both useful and informative while giving you an insight into our community. St. Columba’s is a well-established and successful school with 92% of students achieving at least 5 GCSEs grade C or above in 2011.
St. Columba’s Catholic Boys’ school is a community where the Gospel values inform all aspects of community life and learning.
Our motto is “Tenui Nec Dimittam” meaning “I have taken hold (of the faith) and will not let go”. Our vision is to create an inspirational community of learning and achievement in partnership with parents and the wider community. We seek to prepare and empower our pupils to meet and gain from the opportunities and challenges in an ever changing technological society.
